Connecting Shippers
with Carriers
The automotive logistics industry had fallen behind modern technology standards. While shippers pushed for greater speed and efficiency, many carriers still relied on outdated, paper-based processes like manual bill of ladings.
Reporting directly to the Chief Technology Officer, I led UX research and UI design efforts, collaborating closely with front-end and back-end developers to build a modern Transportation Management System (TMS) from the ground up.
One of the key challenges was enabling real-time visibility into vehicle and product availability across multiple partners. We designed an experience centered on transparency and trust—giving customers clear insight into delivery timelines, locations, and status updates throughout the shipping lifecycle.

In addition to the web application, we developed a fully integrated mobile app designed with drivers in mind. This mobile solution empowers drivers to search for available vehicle loads, view detailed load information, manage assigned tasks, and accept or decline jobs directly from their smartphones. The app was built to provide flexibility and real-time access to critical job data while drivers are on the road, improving operational efficiency and reducing communication gaps.
By syncing seamlessly with the web platform, the mobile app ensures that updates made on either side—whether by dispatchers or drivers—are instantly reflected across the system. This complementary relationship between the mobile and web apps creates a cohesive experience for both fleet managers and drivers, enabling faster decision-making, improved accountability, and greater visibility throughout the delivery process.
